Birds are just like every vertebrate, having the closed circulatory system. Heart of the bird is same as that of the mammalian heart, it is having four chambers: two atria and two ventricles and there is no mixture of venous and arterial blood. In mammals, though, aorta curves down to left while in the birds it curves down to the right.
