Boucholz relay refers to a device that is used for protecting the transformer against the internal faults; it refers to a gas based relay whenever any internal fault takes place in the transformer, boucholz relay at once provides the horn for some time, in case the transformer is separated from circuit then it stop its sound itself on the other hand it trips circuit on its own tripping mechanism.
