Booting is a method of loading up the operating system files to the main memory or RAM. Once the OS is loaded it is ready for the users to run the applications. As soon as the computer is switched on the booting procedure automatically starts. Rebooting is the reloading of operating system. Booting is of two kinds: WARM and COLD booting.
A COLD boot is if you turn the computer ON from the OFF position.
A WARM boot is if you RESET the computer which is already ON.
