What do you mean by the autotrophic beings? Specify what are the heterotrophic beings?

Autotrophic beings are those, which may generate their own food, i.e., that can prepare organic material from the inorganic compounds. Heterotrophic beings are those, which require incorporating the organic material on order to nourish them. Thus, heterotrophy depends upon the generation of the autotrophs.
