Androecium is the set up of male reproductive structures of the flowers. It understands the stamens formed of by the filament and anther; one flower has one androecium which might have one or various stamens.
Gynoecium is the set of the female reproductive structures of the flowers. It basically is composed of the single pistil which consists of the stigma, the style and ovary. The androecium generally surrounds central gynoecium.
