Assume the role of a midlevel health care manager at National Home Health Care Organization. Your supervisor has asked that you analyze current data and statistics on life expectancy and mortality rates in the nation as part of a nationwide program that your organization plans to roll out. The program will help regional managers to assist the families of terminally ill patients with planning. A first step in the program is to gather trends related to life expectancy, common causes of death, and mortality rates to help regional mangers identify their target audiences for the program.
Create an executive summary that presents data on trends related to life expectancy, common causes of death, and mortality rates. Conclude by researching and presenting some of the challenges that managers face in meeting the needs of the community related to your findings.
