I. Write an essay on what you've learned about technology and your predictions on where it will go next. Your paper should include the following:
1. Three predictions on which technologies will have the greatest impact on the business world in the next 5 years and why. Support and explain your predictions.
2. Three predictions on which technologies will become obsolete in the next 5 years and how this will impact the business world. Support and explain your predictions.
3. Three Websites or online tools that gather information about you. Describe some Web-based tools that gather information about users. Discuss one of the following or both. Either discuss how a totalitarian government (in some country if not this one) could use such information to control and manipulate a user, and/or describe how a company could use this "marketing information" in business or political ways that are powerful, and possibly not originally foreseen. You might also discuss whether companies allowed permission to gather personal information would easily give up that right.
Your paper should read like a clearly outlined essay. When you are done, go back and put in Bold text the name of a product or technology you are featuring for each point. Provide two to three complete sentences about each point. Write in full sentences. Do not use sentence fragments or create bulleted lists.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
