We discussed military education in antiquity and its similarities and differences from that of the present day. In the article Leadership by Socratic Model, ancient thought is once again addressed, this time in an analysis of the Socratic Method as it applies to military leadership. In one sentence, summarize the Socratic Method. Do you agree with Tucker that this method is beneficial to military leaders? Why or why not? Is this "question logic" method appropriate in an environment that demands discipline and obedience to orders such as the military? Why or why not?
