Why can the body feedback system not sense

Problem:

Question 1: Why can the body feedback system NOT sense and correct growth distortions due to growth hormone (GH)?

Question 2: Glutathione S-transferase is a heterodimeric enzyme (two distinct polypeptides assemble to make the functional protein). Strain differences are based on the efficiency of this enzyme. If one strain has a mutation in the gene for the α subunit of glutathione S-transferase and a second strain has a mutation in the gene encoding the β subunit of the enzyme, would you expect the two strains to complement each other by providing a functional enzyme?

Could anyone help me please?
