You will be working with a team of highly skilled IT specialists on various Government and commercial IT projects throughout the course.Your first project is updating a mid-sized company's inventory control system. They sell books and other various items online and have been experiencing shipping and inventory problems. Your team has convinced them that they need to modernize the company with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information system. This requires an upgrade of their networks and computer systems at the headquarters, warehouses, and satellite offices.
Information systems are designed by analyzing business processes and then finding technical solutions to arm employees with better information for decision making allowing them to accomplish their tasks more efficiently and effectively. Discuss the ERP system features with your team.
