The respiratory system is responsible for the intake of oxygen for the body and the removal of carbon dioxide. Decreased respiratory function significantly limits the ability of other systems to function properly because oxygen is essential at the cellular level for all activities to occur. Diseases of the respiratory system range from simple (the common cold) to very serious (cancer). There are several factors that can increase a patient's risk of developing a respiratory disease.
Conduct some online research and in a 1-page Word document describe in detail two factors that may increase the risk of getting lung cancer.
Part II: Complete the following research.

2. Locate the official do not use list of abbreviations.
3. Write a 1 to 2 page summary of the following:
a. Choose 10 abbreviations to discuss.
b. What potential problems using abbreviations from the "do not use" list could arise.
c. What alternatives you could use instead of the abbreviation.
4. Come to class prepared to discuss the potential problems and what to use instead.
