How do computers assist in the budget planning process? Software to assist companies with the budgeting process is available form a variety of sources. Search on the internet to find 5 budgeting software packages which are available. For each of the software packages, answer the following questions:
1. What is the name of the software package? What company provides the software?
2. What is the cost of the package?
3. What does the software specifically do?
4. What is the target market for that particular software package (i.e., manufacturers, service companies, nonprofit, etc.)?
5. How long has the company making the software been in business? What are their credentials?
6. What are the benefits to using this software?
Prepare a paper, which answers all of the above questions for the packages you choose. Include a brief discussion of why the budgetary process is so important for all businesses.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
