What could they have done differently

Paper Assignment: "Principles of Management"

To date, we've been talking a lot about several management principles in general. We've, content wise, talked/read through personality types (cp. the Big Five Personality Types), strategy, P-O-L-C (the Four Basic Management Functions), mission & vision statements, goals & objectives, and MBOs up to this point. That said;please find an example of a company whose practices were shoddy/dysfunctional (e.g.encouraged high turnover/poor retention, infighting, scandal, lost revenue, etc.)in some way and then decided to turn it around (for whatever reason) for/toward the better. In short, and while drawing on your readings and other scholarly sources, please summarize what went wrong and what lengths the company/organization went to fix their said wrongs.

Questions worth considering as you write:

- What was the company org and what industry? It's history in short?
- What was the problem?
- How did its leadership fix the problem?
- What could they have done differently? If at all?
- Any room for improvement?
- How might the example inform today's management?
