Philanthropy is viewed by some as an elitist ‘feel good' action taken on by the super-rich individuals and corporations.
To our previous points around utilitarianism and end justifies the means should this action be mandatory or just a good will gesture.
In other words if you are a Fortune 500 corporation or a considered top 1% in wealth - should philanthropy be mandatory?
Also - which charities or causes should get the money? Why?
