Time important for good relationships

Problem:

Rest and reflection are a necessity. For me, I think more and am more creative when I am at rest. Now, I don't get a lot. However, that doesn't mean that I don't take advantage of it when I do. Every part of us needs rest. The body almost shuts down when we go to sleep so that it can revitalize to start over the next day. It is a vital part of our health and well being. I come up with my best ideas when I sleep. If I could remember my dreams, I would be rich off the movies I would make. The same is true for the brain. We take in so much information and knowledge throughout the course of the day that it is necessary to let it all absorb. I understood what Daniel Rubin was saying about stopping time. We will never be able to stop time but we can use time to our advantage. Chaos is a normal part of my day. I often take a few minutes to myself just to think about things that happened that day, things I need to do, and things I want to do. It allows me to create a schedule for myself and to reflect on my decisions. I do not like making hasty decisions. When I don't take time out to rest and reflect I often find myself blocked. It is almost like writer's block. My thoughts are scrambled and I can't seem to do anything. Time is also important for good relationships. Daniel talks about this in the video as well. You can live with someone for years and never really know them because you don't take the time to get to know them (Rubin, 2013)
