Can we distinguish between knowing someone in the sense of knowing the habits or traits she has (her tendencies and dispositions, which she might not understand very well herself) and knowing someone in the sense of knowing what her subjective experience is like at a particular moment?
Section 2
Think about your influences on minor choices, such as how to spend the evening, or major choices, such as getting married to a particular person. Did they cause the you to make the choices you did? If so, does that imply that the choices were not free?
