Assignment: Analytical Modeling Techniques
Your study this week and last addressed a wide range of analytical tools. Pick one specific graphical modeling technique (diagram) for the analysis phase (structured or object-oriented), and respond to the following:
• Summarize what you learned regarding this technique.
• What do you see as its strong and weak points?
• Describe an information system project that you might work on and how it could benefit from this form of modeling.
In academia, facts must be verified and opinions supported, so offer a rationale that includes something you've learned this week. Include references as appropriate, but do not quote or paraphrase.
Discussions are an important part of your learning. Share your thoughts, suggestions, and questions with your classmates and learn from theirs. Interact just as you would in a traditional classroom. Post your initial response by Wednesday. Then, return on a couple of other days to interact with your classmates. Respond to at least one who preferred a different technique in substantive posts that further the discussion.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
