You read in the NY Times that students at MSU take an average of four classes per semester. But, you conducted the survey in your Research Methods class and found that your sample of 100 MSU students took the average of 3.2 classes per semester (with the sample standard deviation of 1.7 classes). Is your sample of MSU students significantly different from population of MSU students in terms of number of classes they take per semester (employ alpha level .05)?  To answer this question, follow all of your steps for hypothesis testing.
