-Describe the topic you're proposing for your research, explain why that topic is important;
-State which two case studies (examples) you plan to discuss in your paper and why
-State which two international relations theories you plan to use to analyze the issue and why (refer to the theory sampler handout and/or chapter 3 of the textbook for a review of the theories)
-State which two level(s) of analysis you're planning to apply to analyze the issue and why (one of them should be the human rights level, if appropriate for your topic)
-State your initial view on the role of globalization in the global issue you want to research. Is globalization part of the problem or of the solution, or both? How?
-List one or two preliminary sources you found so far on the topic, use APA format.
