Social-cognitive learning perspective


For this essay, think of a character from a book or movie, or from your own life, and analyze that character as though you were B. F. Skinner, the radical behaviorist we met in the last chapter. (Remember that Skinner was a proponent of operant conditioning and that he believed that only observable behaviors were useful for understanding people.)

Then, using the same character, analyze the character from a social-cognitive learning perspective of your choice. (Be sure to identify the perspective.) Describe the character well enough for your instructor to understand who or what you are writing about, and clearly identify the observations that fit your chosen perspective. This assignment is somewhat loose, so have fun with it.
