Simulate the frequency response of your amplifier use ac

Verify the transimpedance amplifier circuit designed in "Task " through SPICE simulation.

In doing so,

• Use the LF347 SPICE macromodel posted on the course website and ± 12 V power supply voltages

• Model the photodiode as a current source with a 12 pF capacitor in parallel

To verify your design, make sure that at a minimum you

• Simulate the frequency response of your amplifier (use .AC analysis statement in SPICE) from 2 kHz to 200 kHz to produce the Bode magnitude plot

• Simulate the time-domain response of your amplifier (use .TRAN analysis statement in SPICE) to show the presence of "instability" without the capacitor Cc.

In doing so, use the PULSE statement in SPICE to model the current source as a pulsating waveform with frequency 20 kHz and 50% duty cycle. Observe the time-domain waveforms for the output voltage with and without Cc
