Salary issue-working for non-profit

Problem: I currently work for a non-profit in Michigan, Michigan United Conservation Clubs. I have worked for them for about a year and a half. I am the executive assistant and event planner for MUCC. I LOVE my job but recently one of MUCC's employees applied for a job at Public Sector Consultants, PSC, also in Michigan and got the job. On June 28th he told me about a new position that just opened up doing the exact same thing I do at MUCC so I applied. On the 1st they called me in for an interview, which is this coming Monday the 8th.

I currently make 23,000 a year, the position I applied for is offering 30,000 - 45,000. I am 12 credits away from getting my BBA and I also have an AS in Interior Design. I really want this job and I think I have a really good chance of getting it but I don't want to loose it by asking too much as far as pay goes. What should I ask for?
