Imagine yourself situated in the mid-14th Century. The Black Death is ravaging neighboring towns, killing indiscriminately. Write a "primary source" account of what you see once the Black Death reaches your towns' borders. Feel free to be creative as possible, but be sure to include relevant historical information.
You can, for example, talk about religious or political ramifications-how neither the government nor church had an adequate response and how that affected your community. Creativity will be rewarded.
