Music Assignment
Part I:
Pick either Beethoven's "Sonata No. 14 in C# Minor (all three parts)" OR Mozart's "Symphony No. 25 in G Minor (all four parts)" and perform a sound journal entry. Both pieces are on the Spotify playlist. Be sure to address each part of the whole composition in your sound journal entry.
Part II:
Write a contextualization paragraph. Be sure to address some distinctive features of your chosen piece (e.g., form, instrumentation, aesthetic characteristics, melody, rhythm, harmony). Be sure to rely upon this week's readings for guidance. A well-positioned and explained quote is always welcome!
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
