Obligation to train employees

Employers are generally under no obligation to train employees, though you can certainly argue for the necessity of doing so. Conditions do exist under which an employer can be found negligent for failing to adequately train employees. There are other times when training, although not required, is highly desirable for legal reasons.

Describe OSHA and any required training for employees. Under what conditions can an employer be found liable for failure to train employees under OSHA?
