Liability and assumption of risk

Samson Land Co. owns some vacant land, and leases a little spot to a billboard company. Like most billboards, there is a metal ladder that starts about 10 feet above ground level then runs to the top to a ledge at the billboard, for the billboard company's use. Unknown to Samson Land Co., one fine day college students enter the property, inflate a giant carnival-type mattress, put up a ladder to reach the metal ladder, and climb to the top and jump to the mattress. One student gets seriously hurt. When the student sues Samson and the billboard company, how should Samson's insurer handle the claim? Discuss. (Obviously the students have their own liability and assumption of risk; don't discuss that.)(6)
