Information System Project Risk Categories
Project that deals with multiple systems: SQL server, hosting company, fourth shift server, RBP server. Below, I have listed a list of risks with the project. Please take a look and let me know any other risk or something that I can add to the risk items. The risk is part of the testing phase of the project.
I. Risk
1 Schedule
Testing for Rule Based Picking will be conducted in a two week period as outline in the testing calendar. The developing team is currently finishing up with the development aspect of the program which we may have to delay the testing phase until all aspects of the program has been completed.
2 Security
The testing of the Rule Based Picking system is dependent on the security access to Scott Pet Products' testing environment.
3 Technical
This will require an active Internet connection to test customer Internet web portal login page which is dependent on the web hosting company (GoDaddy).
4 Requirements
If testing reveals a major flaw in the system and re-modification to the program is necessary we will get approval from the project manager, project sponsor and Dr. Overmyer before proceeding.
