Homework: Information System
Select an information system used by a medium to large organization. The organization can be in the public or private sector, and it can be one with which you are personally familiar or one for which information is readily available. Develop a three to five page paper (excluding the title and reference pages) that addresses the following:
o Describe the nature of the organization you have selected, its mission, and the high-level purpose of their information system.
o Identify the owner of the information system.
o Describe how you would see the system processes from the viewpoint of the system owner.
o Identify the users of the information system.
o Describe how you would see the system processes from the viewpoint of the system users.
o Describe the system processes from the viewpoint of the system designer.
o Compare and contrast the essential differences in the various viewpoints you have identified.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
