Part I: Reference Document
Create a reference document that addresses adolescent issues and behaviors, as well as strategies and resources for adolescents, families, and educators. The reference document may be a matrix, resource guide, quick reference chart, infographic, or another format approved by your instructor. Use the course materials and other relevant findings as resources
Address the following in your reference document:
• Identify at least 10 adolescent issues that are relevant to your classroom and adolescent students.
• Identify the specific behaviors associated with those issues, such as withdrawal, hyperactivity, sadness, lashing out, etc.
• Identify strategies educators might use to alleviate those behaviors and help adolescents.
• List some possible outcomes for adolescents who do not get help with their issues.
• Identify school resources available for those adolescents who have the identified behaviors.
• Identify community resources adolescents and families may turn to for support on the issues.
Cite all sources according to APA guidelines. Supporting information in your reference document must be accurate and come from credible sources.
Part II: Paper
Create a 1200-word paper that applies predominant adolescent development theories to the following issues:
• Alienation
• Substance use and abuse
• Sexual behaviors
• Body image
Address the following for each issue:
• Identify a predominant adolescent development theory that addresses the issue.
• Describe how the theory addresses the issue.
• Use professional, personal, or researched experiences as examples of the theory addressing the issue.
Include a references page with citations.
