Assignment: Leadership Development Plan
The goal of this assignment is to allow you to extend the knowledge you have gained in class to improve your own leadership skills. The assignment should reflect deep thought into your values and vision and your specific career goals and your unique leadership style. Make sure to address bullet point 4.
1) What does leadership mean to you? What is your unique leadership style (Draw on your leadership self assessments, your own leadership experiences inside and outside class). Make sure to justify your statements with specific examples. Identify key drivers of and barriers to improving your leadership effectiveness
2) Establish meaningful and measureable objectives for behavioral change that will enhance your leadership effectiveness (Identify technical and non technical skills that you need to acquire and networks that you wish to build)
3) Develop an action plan that specifies how you will implement those key behavioral changes to better yourself and the people around you.
4) Identify specific actions you have taken during the course of this semester to improve your leadership skills
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
