Discussion Post: Lesson Plan Implementation
Delivering a lesson to students is the culmination of what you've learned throughout this course. By practicing this skill and seeking feedback with your mentor, you will be prepared for the rigor of leading your own classroom.
With permission from your mentor, implement one of the lessons you created for this course with a small group of students or with the whole class. Following the implementation of your lesson, discuss with your mentor opportunities to encourage deeper critical thinking within the lesson.
In 250 to 500 words, summarize and reflect upon the implementation of your lesson and discussion with your mentor. Include his or her recommendations for adding critical thinking to the lesson and explain how you will use your findings in your future professional practice.
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
