Assignment: Analysis of Real Business Case
Eachstudentfollows/readsrecent business news (e.g., Businessweek, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, etc.) using your research skill. Find one article that should meet the following criteria:
- The article must be recent - after 2010 (you must exclude all articles shared in class).
- The article must be long enough for you to summarize (e.g., a featured story) - do not consider a short story in the box or a brief report on IT.
- The article must be relevant and fit the overarching theme of the course, ‘Making Businesses Better using Technology'.
Prepare your report with the following points:
- Summary of the article of your choice
- How would the case in focus be related to specific topics/subjects/concepts covered in class? (e.g., impact on existing business processes, operations, possible IT that should've been discussed, etc)
- Anycritical points/issues (issues other than what's asked and/or topics/subjects) that you hope the article should have addressed or discussed further and/or more
- Any of your suggestions and/or solutions (you may want to do your own research)
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
