Assignments include both a prepared document (Part 1) you will upload as well as preparation and research (Part 2) that you will bring forward with you on the day of the online class and will be used as part of the online discussion - be prepared to chat live so a headset/microphone set up is needed as you will be placed in groups and report back

This may be written as a 3-part question series within one report. Please be sure to use APA format for the cover page and any supporting citation or quotes used as part of your narrative response. 1. Visit the National Coalition on Health Care Website. Briefly describe who they are, what they do, and their principles for improving our current health care system.
1. Visit the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Website.
o Choose a specific population and also a disease that the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is researching. Briefly discuss the scope of the problem, background, as well as the impact of AHRQ Research.
1. Visit the American Diabetes Association Website. Complete their risk test. Briefly, explain your results and how they relate your understanding of healthcare now and implications for the future. You may also want to include supporting data or examples from other online research.
Part 2 - prepare to be able to discuss online in class (Due for week one online chat)
1. Why is it important to have a balance of all five health components?
2. Briefly describe an example (not discussed in the lecture) of how one can participate in primary prevention.
3. Why is disease prevention important? Explain your answer in a few short paragraphs.
