• How do group norms and status influence an individual's behavior?
• Norms are the dos and don'ts for behavior in a given social environment, the unwritten rules for what people should and should not do. As a member of a group one desires acceptance by the group. Thus, one is susceptible to conform to the group's norms. Provide some examples to illustrate the main reasons for conformity?
