Jennifer works as a patient services specialist at a medical office. Her best friend, Darleen, is a dental assistant in the same area. Jennifer and Darleen use several of the same social networking services. When one of Darleen's previous boyfriends comes in for an appointment at the medical office, Jennifer uses her private cell phone copy the photo from his medical record to her social networking page and texts Darleen, to saying, "Get ready. Guess who is here today...." Because Jennifer and Darleen are merely corresponding as usual, they do not feel they are violating patient privacy. Do you agree with their point of view?
