Hey entered into a unique graduate school program offering

University International CO-OP Program

Background: They entered into a unique graduate school program offering Curriculum Practicum Training (CPT) in which a student is permitted to work full-time for pay while they study. As of the writing of this document the program has eclipse 130 students.

Problem Statement: The CPT program has been heralded as a success, yet, there are a couple of issues that have emerged. 1. Without acculturation classes to learn normative systems within the American educational institutions, some international students have unknowingly broken norms and rules. 2. Working with international students third party agents is a time and labor intensive endeavor. 3. Students need to find jobs to satisfy the CPT requirement of the program.

Recommendation: In order to address the proscribed issues outlined above, it is recommended that UOL University start a process of seeking to expand enrollments of students already attending American schools. That is, it would be of great value to find students who have been in American institutions as they understand norms and rules of higher education, third party agents would not be required, and potential students could seek employment and establish relationships before arriving in Louisville. It is recommended that UOL University devise an effort to find new MBA and MSMIT students within Kentucky and throughout the United States. In addition, it is desirable to seek nearing MBA students for the new PhD. Program at U0L.

Research Questions: Based upon this synopsis of the UOL University International CPT Program there are two germane questions desired here:

1. Is it viable to seek current international students from other schools to enter into the UOL University Graduate School (or even undergraduate school)?

2. What is the best approach to marketing such a recruiting effort?

3. Is the marketing of this effort financially responsible and profitable for the University?
