a. Facing severe financial problems, the state of Nevada was thinking of expanding legal prostitution from its current rural areas to the gambling centers, Las Vegas and Reno. Do you think legal prostitution managed by the market but subject to reasonable health and safety regulation would be a good policy for your state or any state? Explain.
b. The bitter, ongoing debate about same-sex marriage raises the question of whether the state's role in marriage should be eliminated.
