Question 4: The space between two square flat parallel plates is filled with oil. Each side of the plate is 60 cm. The thickness of the oil film is 12.5 mm. The upper plate that moves at 2.5 m/s needs a force 98.1 N to maintain the speed. Find out:

a) Dynamic viscosity of the oil in poise.
b) Kinematic viscosity of the oil in stokes if the specific gravity of oil is 0.95.

Question 5: A differential manometer is joined at the two point A & B of two pipes as shown in figure. The pipe A contains a liquid of sp. gr. = 1.5; while B contains of liquid of sp. gr. = 0.9 pressures at A & B are 1kg/cm2 & 1.80 kgf/cm2 respectively. Find out the difference in mercury level in differential manometer.
