1. Classify the terms parameter and statistics. Be sure the concepts of population and sample are included in your definitions.
2. Dawns & Abwender (2002) found neurological deficit in soccer players who are routinely hit on the head with soccer balls compared with swimmers who are also athletes but who are not regularly hit on the head. Is this an instance of an experimental or a non-experimental study? Hint: decide is there cause/effect relationship (control and manipulation) then decide if this is an experiment or not.
