For this assignment you will submit the assignment via the drop box below. Remember you must submit the assignment via a .doc, docx. or rtf. file.
For the window that the extra credit opportunity is open, you can do up to two of these assignments for a possible total of 50 extra credit points. Make note of when the Module for Extra Credit becomes available and the deadline for these assignments. I don't accept late extra credit assignments, and as noted below, the assignments are all or nothing. So, make certain your submission is perfect before submitting.
This is an all or nothing assignment. In order to receive all of the points, you must meet all of the requirements. If anything is missing or done incorrectly, you will get a 0. If you do everything as requested, you will receive 25 extra credit points. Multiple submissions for the same extra credit assignment will NOT be accepted. So, make sure everything is correct before submitting the assignment.
For this assignment, you need to find a video. It can be a Youtube, a TED talk or any other kind of informative and educational online video. The video should be between 5 minutes to 30 minutes in length. This video should cover one of the many topics we have dealt with in this class, or will be covering in a later chapter. It CANNOT be a video shown or provided in this class. The video should further explain and expand upon this issue or topic. In your document, you need to provide an active hyperlink to this video. The link should take me directly to the video.
At the very top of this document provide the active link to the video.
The following should be covered after the link:
1. The title of this video and where you found it. (Youtube, TED talk, PBS online, etc.)
2. The number and name of the chapter from our text covered in the video
3. List at least one concept or issue covered in the video from the chapter, and include the page number(s) where this item(s) is found in our text. ( for this just list it what it is and I will find on my book),
4. In the first paragraph or two, you need to explain what the video is about and how this video expands or further explains the concepts or issues listed above. You also need to elaborate on why this particular issue is an ethical issue. Why is this something relevant to this class?( the class is Policy and Ethics PUP3054)
5. In the next paragraph or two you should explain why you picked this particular video. What did you like about it and/or why did you find it interesting? After watching the video, what additional things did you learn about this subject?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
