2. Piaget distinguished four major stages of cognitive development, i.e. sensorimotor development, preoperational thinking, concrete operations, and formal operations. Explain using his psychological constructivism theory the major characteristics of the children in each stage by illustrating concrete examples.

3. Explain and compare the distinguishing features of four motivation theories of behaviorism theory, self-determination theory, attribution theory, and expectancy-value theory.

5. Develop a motivational activity as your opening or hook for your standard. Specify what motivational theory is related to and why.
