Question 1: What is being emitted from the stained gel that exposes grains on the film?
Question 2: How would the DNA profile frequency have differed if the three loci were present on the same chromosome? Which of Mendel's Principles come into play in your answer?
Question 3: If you had a pool of 10 suspects, and only one suspect had a genotype that matched the DNA fingerprint (for the three loci examined in lab) found at the crime scene, would you be satisfied that you had identified the perpetrator based only on the genotype?
