Assignment:
Your assignment requires a visit to a religious service outside of your own tradition. For example, Christians attending a Jewish or Muslim service (and vice versa) would qualify. The objective of your visit is to observe and reflect on the difference between this tradition and your own. Your assignment should be a cohesive composition with complete paragraphs and sentences (not numerically organized answers).
After your visit you are to write a 3-page report in which you:
Q1. Describe the service you attended with specific details. What beliefs were expressed? What activities occurred?
Q2. Explain your religious tradition and point out similarities between your own tradition and the observed tradition.
Q3. Describe the differences you observed between your own tradition and the one visited.
Q4. Reflect upon your tradition and the one visited. What could your tradition learn from theirs? How has the experience impacted you personally?
