Incident response invokes complex activities and requires coordinated interaction between various departments within an organization.
A solid framework is required and provides guidance to create consistent response activities and outcomes.
In this assignment you will create and discuss the first elements of the final project CSIRP:
1. Mission
2. Strategies and Goals
3. Executive Leadership Sponsors
4. Organizational Approach
5. Internal and External Communication (how the IR team will communicate)
6. Road map for growth and maturation of the plan
7. How the plan supports the organization
These should be high level descriptions that provides anyone reading the document the ability to understand each section. Describe each section as if you were developing them for your fictitious company.
This assignment will provide you with information for your final project. You can use the supplied CSIRP template for this assignment if you choose.
Guidelines for Submission: Your paper must be submitted as at least (3-5)-page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Make sure you cite if you take a piece of someone's work, very important and your reference should relate to your writing (don't cite a reference because it relates to the course and not this very paper) at least 4 current and relevant academic references. No heavy paraphrasing of others work.
