Assignment: Social Media Impacts
Social media has an impact on people's personal and professional lives. It has even impacted the way companies do business. Social media has changed the way people communicate with each other and the way companies communicate internally and externally.
Respond to the following:
• Based on the social media classifications you learned in this module (social networking, geosocial networking, content communities, or online communication), briefly describe the social media applications you have used and the categories they belong to.
• Explain how social media has gradually changed individual communications for you both personally and professionally.
• Using your job position (or one you intend to have), describe both the advantages and the challenges resulting from the introduction of social media to any type you identify. Please discuss based on the honeycomb social media factors introduced in this module.
