• Explain the changes that occurred under the Articles of Confederation, the early part of the government under the Constitution, the Civil War, the Industrial Revolution, the New Deal, and over the past few decades.
• Contrast the models of federalism described in your textbook and come to a conclusion as to how the system of federalism worked best, and worked worst, in US history. Use at least two outside sources for historical information related to your answer.
