Assignment: Strategic Plan Research
Research and select a sample strategic plan in an industry with which you are familiar or interested. Be sure it includes the various components of a typical strategic plan. Reference Figure 1.1 "Identifying a Company's Strategy-What to Look For" in Ch. 1 of your text.
Identify in 350 to 525 words what the plan does well, in addition to areas for improvement.
Discuss whether the plan:
i. Clearly states where the organization is going and how it will get there
ii. Evaluates the organization's external and internal environments
iii. Includes a people plan and addresses achievement of a diverse workforce
iv. Includes corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
