Multiple Critical Infrastructure Failures
Prior to beginning work on this interactive assignment, read Chapter 2 and 6 in Radvanovsky& McDougall (2013) the primary textbook and Chapter 9 in Sylves (2014).
For this assignment, you will post the "Appendix" portion (the image of the map and legend) of the Week Three Assignment to the discussion board for the class to review.
At a location where at least two critical infrastructures meet on your map, imagine that a terrorist attack has occurred and managed to disable these critical infrastructure sectors.
As a first responder at the scene, you are to write a report on the incident, including the following:
Describe the location and details of the attack on the map and the sectors involved.
Examine the impacts of actual and suspected threats as determined by the attack.
Evaluate the ethical and legal issues of risk assessment and management as determined by the terrorist attack.
Evaluate the impact this attack will have on demand and capacity for these critical infrastructure sectors now and in the near future.
