Choose three topics from the document and briefly discuss their relevance to Randolph's argument.
A.Topics include constitutional amendments, the FEPC (Fair Employment Practices Commission), education, poll taxes, transportation, the military, lynching, and housing. If you choose topics that date prior to World War II, you need to indicate that and the topic's relationship to events in 1942.
B.Near the end of his declaration, Randolph raises the important issue of timing when he says "It is time to meet this situation squarely with direct action." Why was this cause so important to pursue at this time? Would it have been possible for Randolph to press his case as effectively earlier than 1942? Why or why not?
