You have been painting as long as you can remember-primarily serene landscapes of mountains, lakes, and streams in watercolor. You display your paintings at the local fair, sell some to friends and relatives, and gift a few. Recently, you were approached by a professional from the art world who believes you can market your paintings to a much larger audience and make a good profit.
Before you can start selling to a wider audience you need to prepare a 5- to 7-page paper to:
• Discuss the demographics and psychographics of your target market.
• Discuss the possible needs and goals of your potential consumers.
• Analyze the following aspects:
o dogmatism
o social character
o need for uniqueness
• Discuss how the above issues contribute to your marketing efforts.
